Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 TOYOTA RAV4. WHILE PARKING THE VEHICLE AND DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE VEHICLE SURGED FORWARD INDEPENDENTLY. THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE FRONT OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE FAILURE WAS PERSISTENT. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED. THE LOCAL DEALER (BENARDI TOYOTA 1626 WORCESTER ROAD, FRAMINGHAM, MA, 01702) WAS CONTACTED AND A DIAGNOSTIC APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE.
