TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 SUBARU FORESTER. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR GENERAL INSPECTION, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER LOWER CONTROL ARMS SHOWED CORROSION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 11V464000 (SUSPENSION). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED, BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
