Consumer Description

ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL WARNING LIGHT APPEARED ON 2 OCCASIONS, ACCOMPANIED BY SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER. ONE EVENT OCCURED IN HEAVY HIGHWAY TRAFFIC AND NEARLY RESULTED IN A MULTI-VEHICLE ACCIDENT. ESTIMATED SPEED WAS 60 MPH. THE OTHER EVENT OCCURED WHILE ENTERING AN INTERSECTION AFTER SIGNAL LIGHT TURNED GREEN. IN BOTH CASES THE LOSS OF POWER SELF CORRECTED AFTER ABOUT 10 SECONDS. THE VEHICLE HAS APPROXIMATELY 6000 MILES ON IT, AND I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER. ...UPDATED 09/14/17 *BF *CN
