Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 SATURN ION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL FUEL ODOR EMITTING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT INSPECTED THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT THERE WAS EVIDENCE OF FUEL ON THE GROUND UNDER THE VEHICLE AND ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE FUEL TANK. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 09V419000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 153,331.
