Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED, AND THE VEHICLE STALLED AND LOST ENGINE POWER. THE CONTACT NOTICED EXCESSIVE SMOKE UNDER THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO SAFELY GET THE VEHICLE OFF THE ROADWAY. THE CONTACT NOTICED A FRAGMENT OF A FRACTURED PISTON ON THE GROUND. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 67,811.
