TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE RPMS INCREASED AND THE CONTACT HEARD A CLICKING NOISE. AFTERWARDS, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN. THE ISSUE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
