Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS BEING OPERATED, AN ABNORMAL NOISE EMITTED FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER AND RESTARTED THE VEHICLE; HOWEVER, THERE WAS A LACK OF POWER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TIMING CHAIN FRACTURED AND THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE.
