Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 TOYOTA TUNDRA. THE CONTACT OBSERVED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE FRAME WAS DETERIORATED AND RUSTED OUT A TWO INCH CIRCUMFERENCE HOLE. THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V345000 (STRUCTURE:BODY), BUT THE REMEDY FAILED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. INSTEAD OF THE FRAME BEING REPLACED, THE CONTACT STATED THAT IT WAS SPRAYED PREVIOUSLY WITH A COMPOUND. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 113,000.
