Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION OVERHEATED AND THE "PULL OVER" WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE HESITATED AND STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED AN UNKNOWN SOFTWARE UPDATE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON APPROXIMATELY FOUR OTHER OCCASIONS AND WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPROGRAMMED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 22,000. UPDATED 09/20/16*LJ *TR
