Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN ION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS LEAKING FUEL AND SMELLED MOST OF THE TIME. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE DID NOT START AT THE FIRST ATTEMPT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES, BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V153000 (STEERING). THE FAILURES WERE NOT REMEDIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 125,000.
