Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 SUBARU FORESTER. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE TRANSMISSION GEARS WERE GRINDING. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE CVT TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, WHICH HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY REPLACED TWICE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,000.
