Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE TAKING THE VEHICLE TO GET SERVICE UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V608000 (SUSPENSION), THE DEALER WANTED TO CHARGE THE CONTACT TO GET THE REAR AXLE REPLACED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THE DEALER STATED THE BRACKETS WERE PROPERLY INSTALLED HOWEVER, THE REAR AXLE WAS CRACKED. THE CONTACT WAS UNAWARE IF THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 10V385000(SUSPENSION), 12V193000 (POWER TRAIN) AND 12V195000 (SUSPENSION) DUE TO THE REAR AXLE CRACKING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
