Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE PARKED, THE VEHICLE LEAKED FLUID. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS LEAKING FLUID AND WOULD NEED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS LEAKING FLUID AND NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
