Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 JEEP COMPASS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER REFUELING, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AFTER THE BATTERY WAS RECHARGED FROM ANOTHER VEHICLE. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED A NEW BATTERY. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
