TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 JEEP CHEROKEE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE STRUCK THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. NEITHER OF THE FRONTAL AIR BAGS DEPLOYED AND THE ABS FAILED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A CRASH FIELD SUPERVISOR WOULD EVALUATE THE SITUATION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000. UPDATED 06/15/16*LJ *CN
