Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD WINDSTAR. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE VIBRATED. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS A HOLE UNDER A PATCH INSTALLED DURING A PREVIOUS RECALL REPAIR IN THE REAR AXLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 165,000. UPDATED 04/07/16*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE REAR AXLE HAD A CRACK AND WAS RUSTED. UPDATED 04/13/16. *JB
