Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 45 MPH, THE CONTACT CLOSED THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR HOWEVER, THE DOOR FAILED TO AUTOMATICALLY LOCK AND THE INTERIOR DOME LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE DOOR AJAR WARNING LIGHT ALSO ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON NUMBER OF OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSED OR REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 11,000.
