Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 SUBARU FORESTER. WHILE DRIVING AT 10 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMALLY LOUD NOISE EMIT FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO STOP AND INSPECT THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE DRIVERS SIDE FRONT WHEEL HAD LODGED UP INTO THE WHEEL WELL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CONTROL ARM FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
