Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD TAURUS. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE COOLANT WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT NOTICED COOLANT LEAKING FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE COOLANT WAS LEAKING FROM THE FREEZE PLUG AND WATER PUMP, AND BOTH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,000.
