Consumer Description

I RESPONDED TO A RECALLL NOTICE AND TOOK MY CAR FOR AN INSPECTION BACK IN JUNE. FORD DOES NOT HAVE THE PARTS FOR THE REPAIR AND THEY ARE ON BACK ORDER STILL TODAY (AUGUST 14TH). DEALER INDICATED THAT THEY'VE WAITED AS LONG AS FOUR MONTHS FOR THE PARTS. FOR THIS SAFETY RECALL (15S02 /NHTSA 15V-040) WHERE THE DOORS COULD POSSIBLY POP OPEN IN A COLLISION THIS SEEMS TOO SLOW OF A RESPONSE TIME. DEALER ISN'T THE PROBLEM... FORD IS NOT SUPPLYING THE PARTS.
