Consumer Description

PURCHASED THE CAR ON 7/28/15 THINKING THAT THIS WOULD BE ONE SOLID RELIABLE VEHICLE. DAY 3 AFTER 130 MILES, THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON ON ITS OWN, THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE WENT BACK TO A TWO WHEEL DRIVE. ALTHOUGH VEHICLE DIDN'T STOP OR JOLT IN THE MIDDLE OF HIGHWAY BUT COULD FEEL THE SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER. TOOK IT TO DEALER, STILL SITTING THERE, APPARENTLY NEEDS A WHOLE TRANSMISSION COMPONENT REPLACEMENT AND SOME HARNESS REPLACED. SUPER UNRELIABLE CAR! NOT SURE IF IT WILL DO SAME THING AGAIN. GLAD IT DIDN'T STOP IN MIDDLE OF HIGHWAY! JEEP NEEDS TO RECALL THESE VEHICLES BEFORE SOMEBODY DIES! NOT SURE WHY SAFETY OFFICIALS ARE NOT TAKING THIS SERIOUSLY YET EVEN AFTER SO MANY COMPLAINTS ON A BRAND NEW MODEL CAR!
