Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 JEEP CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING UPHILL AT 55 MPH AND TOWING AN RV, THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL INCREASED TO THE HOT LEVEL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TEMPERATURE STARTED TO GO DOWN AFTER REACHING THE PEAK OF THE HILL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE RECURS EVERY TIME THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN UP AN INCLINE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHERE THE FAILURE WAS UNABLE TO BE DUPLICATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000.
