Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, AN ABNORMAL SOUND EMITTED FROM THE UNDERCARRIAGE OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE DRIVESHAFT DETACHED. AS A RESULT, THE AXLE ASSEMBLY AND PINION NUT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
