DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY CAR SUDDENLY DIDN'T WANT TO ACCELERATE FROM STOP LIGHT. RPMS WOULD SURGE TO 4.5-5,000 BUT CAR WOULDN'T GO FASTER THAN 20MPH UNTIL ABOUT 100FT. WRENCH LIGHT CAME ON. TOOK IT TO FORD DEALER, BANDS 2 TO 4 ARE BROKEN. HAVE TO GET A NEW TRANSMISSION FOR $3,800. AN INABILITY TO ACCELERATE IS A VERY SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. FORD_PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING AND PUT A RECALL ON THIS! *TR
