Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE EXTERIOR LIGHTS, TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS, ODOMETER AND SLIDING DOORS FAILED WITHOUT WARNING. ALSO, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE TOTAL INTERGRADED POWER MODULE FAILED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM FAILED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200,000.
