Consumer Description
THE DRIVERS SIDE FRONT DOOR LATCH SENSOR IS FAULTY, THUS THE DOOR AJAR LIGHT STAYS ILLUMINATED. AS A RESULT, DOORS WON'T LOCK AND CAB LIGHTS STAY ON. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN BECAUSE CHILDREN IN THE BACK CAN OPEN THE DOOR FREELY. FORD HAS IDENTIFIED THE PROBLEM WITH A TSB 14-0083 ALTHOUGH WILL NOT RECALLED. FORD SERVICED THE VEHICLE AND REPLACED THE LATCH IN 2013. PROBLEM HAS RETURNED AND LAFAYETTE FORD WON'T REPLACE AGAIN. *TR
