Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FLEX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE IMPACTED THE CURB AND STARTED TO JERK UNCONTROLLABLY. AFTER INSPECTING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE AXLE FRACTURED AND THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE AIRBAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE CONTACT DID NOT SUSTAIN ANY INJURIES AND MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS NOT REQUIRED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE MILEAGE WAS 22,000. THE VIN NUMBER WAS UNAVAILABLE.
