Consumer Description

I HAVE BEEN HAVING THIS ISSUE FOR A FEW YEARS NOW. WHEN I PUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION AND GO TO TURN KEY OVER, THE KEY WILL NOT TURN. I HAVE TO SIT THERE AND WIGGLE UP AND DOWN AND BACK AND FORTH TO GET THE KEY TO FINALLY TURN SO I CAN START THE CAR. NO ONE ELSE CAN DRIVE MY CAR, BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET THE KEY TO TURN OVER. ALSO, MY KEYS COME OUT OF THE IGNITION WHILE CAR IS IN THE ON OR OFF POSITION. I HAVE BEEN HAVING THIS ISSUE FOR OVER A YEAR NOW. I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THE RECALLS ON THE GM AND CHEVY VEHICLES AND BELIEVE I AM HAVING THE SAME IGNITION ISSUE AS THE OTHER RECALLED VEHICLES. I HAVE TALKED WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AT GMC ABOUT THIS ISSUE BUT THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO HELP ME. THERE HAS NOT BEEN A RECALL ON THE 2005 CHEVY EQUINOX YET. *TR
