Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FIAT 500L. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE PART NEEDED TO REMEDY THE FAILURE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT NOTICED AN ABNORMAL SMELL INSIDE THE VEHICLE THAT CAUSED THE FAMILY TO BECOME SICK. THE CONTACT DECIDED TO RETURN THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,000.
