Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE KEY FAILED TO TURN IN THE IGNITION, PREVENTING THE VEHICLE FROM BEING STARTED. THE FAILURE WAS RECURRING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND TAKEN TO A DEALER BUT WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE COMPUTER WAS REPROGRAMMED BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THERE WAS A CLICKING SOUND WHEN ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
