Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE JOURNEY. AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED PER A RECALL REGARDING THE IGNITION SWITCH, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE LOCAL DEALER AND THE COMPUTER SOFTWARE WAS UPDATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE IGNITION SWITCH MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE RECALL DETAILS WERE NOT PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 134,031.
