Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN HE ATTEMPTED TO ACCELERATE FROM A STOP, THE VEHICLE RAPIDLY ACCELERATED AS THE RPMS INCREASED TO 4000. THE CONTACT APPLIED THE BRAKES AND SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE DID NOT RESPOND AND THE RPMS REMAINED AT 4000. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE.
