Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 MAZDA CX-5. THE CONTACT NOTICED A STRONG FUEL ODOR IN THE CABIN OF THE VEHICLE AND STATED THAT THE FUEL TANK EMPTIED PREMATURELY. AFTER INSPECTING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT DISCOVERED A FUEL LEAK. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FUEL SENSOR WAS DEFECTIVE, BUT THE ORIGIN OF THE FUEL LEAK COULD NOT BE LOCATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 16,000.
