Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TIRES WERE RUBBING AGAINST THE WHEEL WELL AND CHUNKS OF THE TIRE WERE PEELING OFF. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED BY THE FACTORY AFTER MARKET LIFT KIT THAT WAS INSTALLED ON THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN ATTEMPTED TO REMEDY THE FAILURE FOUR TIMES BY CUTTING PART OF THE WHEEL WELL OUT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,800.
