TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CADILLAC CTS. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE MADE A LOUD CLANKING NOISE IN THE ENGINE WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHO STATED THAT A NEW DRIVE SHAFT AND PINION SLANG NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 33,602.
