Consumer Description

I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH AND THE CAR ALTERED WITH THE ERROR SOUND AND PWR STR SHOWED ON THE ODOMETER DISPLAY. POWER STEERING WAS LOST, BUT THE WHEEL WAS STILL ABLE TO TURN. ON THE HIGHWAY, THE STEERING WHEEL WAS NOT CAPABLE OF TURNING MUCH PAST 2 O'CLOCK POSITION. AT LOWER SPEEDS I COULD MAKE RIGHT AND LEFT TURNS, BUT WITH A GREAT AMOUNT OF EFFORT. THE VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE TO OPERATE WITHOUT THE USE OF THE POWER STEERING. AT HIGH SPEEDS, THE STEERING WHEEL DOES NOT HAVE HAS MUCH RANGE OF MOTION. *TR
