Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE RAM 3500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD SEIZE WHEN DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. THE CONTACT LATER RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 13V529000 (STEERING) BUT WAS ADVISED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE TO COMPLETE THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR TO BE PERFORMED. THE CONTACT WAS NO LONGER ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE DUE TO THE RECURRING STEERING FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 56,000.
