Consumer Description

IT WAS 15 DEGREES OUT, I STARTED THE TRUCK SUNDAY MORNING, I PUSHED THE REAR DEFROST BUTTON AND THE LIGHT WOULD NOT COME ON. I WAITED ABOUT 15 MINUTES FOR THE TRUCK TO WARM UP WHEN I GOT INTO THE TRUCK, THE REAR DEFROST BUTTON STILL WAS NOT ILLUMINATED EVEN THOUGH I PUSHED IT A FEW TIMES. ALL OF A SUDDEN THE REAR WINDOW SHATTERED. THERE MUST BE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM WITH THE F150 REAR DEFROST BUTTON. I HAVE READ MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ON THIS SITE AND WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE NHTSA INVESTIGATE THE PROBLEM AND HOLD FORD ACCOUNTABLE. THIS IS NOT SAFE! I AM REQUESTING THAT NHTSA INVESTIGATE THE REAR WINDOW SHATTERING DUE TO A POSSIBLE SHORTAGE WITH THE REAR DEFROSTER BUTTON. I LOOK FORWARD TO READING THE NHTSA INVESTIGATION REPORT WHICH WILL HOLD FORD LIABLE TO REPLACE THE DAMAGED ITEMS. *TR
