Consumer Description

AFTER FILLING THE CAR WITH GAS, EXITED THE GAS STATION AND PROCEEDED THROUGH A PARKING LOT AT 10-15 MPH AND THE ENGINE STUMBLED FOLLOWED IMMEDIATELY BY A CHECK OIL LIGHT (NO "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT) AND ENGINE STOPPED RUNNING. I COASTED TO A STOP, AND ATTEMPTED TO RESTART THE ENGINE; AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS IT STARTED AND I DROVE HOME WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THIS HAPPENS REGULARLY IF I FILL THE FUEL TANK FROM A NEARLY EMPTY CONDITION (AT ON NEAR "E"). THE ENGINE WILL ALWAYS STUMBLE ONCE BEFORE IT STOPS RUNNING. AS SUCH, I'M RELEGATED TO EXERCISING CAUTION AFTER ANY/ALL FILL-UPS (DRIVE AROUND A PARKING LOT FOR EXAMPLE) AND NEVER HAVE KIDS IN THE CAR. FILLING THE TANK FROM A 1/4 FULL CONDITION SEEMS TO HELP. *TR
