Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD TAURUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE HEATED SEAT OVERHEATED. THE SEAT WARMER BURNED THROUGH THE LEATHER SEAT AND THE CONTACT'S COAT, CAUSING BURNS TO THE CONTACT'S SKIN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 58,325.
