TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 SMART FORTWO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT BUCKLE BECAME INOPERABLE AND WOULD NOT LATCH. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 28,800.
