Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH, SHE NOTICED A LOUD SQUEAKING NOISE WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATING AS DESIGNED. THE FRONT AND REAR ROTORS, AND THE BRAKE PADS WERE REPLACED BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. ADDITIONALLY, THE CONTACT STATED THAT WATER WAS LEAKING FROM THE OVERHEAD VENT AND ONTO THE REAR SEATS. THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR ALSO COULD NOT BE LOCKED WITH THE KEY FOB, ONLY MANUALLY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 22,240. *JS
