TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE BEING TOWED BY A RECREATIONAL VEHICLE, SMOKE EMITTED FROM THE VEHICLE AND THERE WAS A VISIBLE TRANSMISSION LEAK. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS FOUND THAT THE TRANSMISSION HAD SEIZED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED ABOUT THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 23,179.
