Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 TOYOTA RAV4. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 3 MPH THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND THERE WAS A RAPID INCREASE IN ACCELERATION. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO SLOW DOWN. THE CONTACT APPLIED FORCE TO THE BRAKE PEDAL WHILE SHIFTING FROM DRIVE INTO THE PARK POSITION. THE VEHICLE CAME TO A STOP AND RESUMED IN OPERATION. THE FAILURE RECURRED TWO TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,200.
