Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE STARTED THE VEHICLE AND ATTEMPTED TO SHIFT INTO GEAR BUT THE GEAR SHIFTER WOULD NOT MOVE. THE CONTACT ALLOWED THE ENGINE TOIDLE FOR 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE GEAR WAS FINALLY ABLE TO BE SHIFTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A MECHANIC AND THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED THAT THE TRANSMISSION FLUID NEEDED TO BE CHANGED. THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
