Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 TOYOTA RAV4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH THE CONTACT APPLIED THE BRAKE PEDAL AND NOTICED THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY LUNGED FORWARD INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE BY CONTINUALLY PUMPING THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE FAILURE OCCURRED TWO DIFFERENT TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,000.
