Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN SENTRA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE WAITING A TRAFFIC LIGHT THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE CRANK SENSOR WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 75,000. ..UPDATED 09/04/12 *BF THE CONSUMER ALSO STATED THE CORE SENSOR WAS REPLACED.
