TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN IN FOR A STATE INSPECTION AND SHE WAS INFORMED THAT THE ENGINE CRADLE WAS CRACKED AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT PASS THE INSPECTION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WERE NO OTHER EXISTING FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 11V030000 (STRUCTURE: FRAME AND MEMBERS: UNDERBODY SHIELDS), BUT THE DEALER ONLY REPLACED THE BRACKETS, WHICH CAUSED THE CRADLE TO CRACK. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 171,000.
