Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HONDA PILOT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE ARRIVED AT HOME AND FORGET TO SHIFT THE VEHICLE INTO PARK. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF AND REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT SHIFTED INTO PARK. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ADDRESSING THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 124,000.
