TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. WHILE PARKED, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TECHNICIAN ADVISED THAT THE EGR VALVE WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED BUT INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE PART WAS ON A GALACTIC BACKORDER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 79,650.
